(I couldn’t find this information in the book, so I did my own research)
Bloom's Taxonomy refers to a classification of the different objectives that educators set for students learning. Bloom's Taxonomy divides educational objectives into three domains, Affective, Psychomotor, and Cognitive. Taxonomy is to motivate educators to focus on all three domains, creating a more holistic form of education. I don’t know the six strategies.
To prepare for a test I will get some sleep the night before, eat a good breakfast the morning of, and take the test with a positive attitude.
1.My understanding of Bloom's Taxonomy is the way I learn. It's the way I obtain information and how I take that information to right answers. I use the Bloom's Taxonomy every time I study. Nobody cannot study using, 1.recall 2.grasp 3.apply 4.analyse 5.synthesise 6.judge. Everybody in the world uses this system every single day even if they didn't know it.
ReplyDelete2.I preplan the exam, ask questions before the test, and reread all assignments.

ReplyDelete1) Bloom's Taxonomy is categorizing different levels of learning. The six levels of Bloom's taxonomy, from lowest to highest, are: knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation. I use the six levels by listening attentively in class. Then i go home to study and review what i've learn, and then i should be prepared to take the test.
2) Some strategies that will prepare me for a test would be to listen attentively in class and study. For all test types this will help. The objective is to know the material.
1. My understanding of Bloom's Taxonomy, is that it's the classification of the different learning objectives that educators have set for students. The six levels of these objectives include: Knowledge, Comprehension, Application, Analysis, Synthesis, and Evaluation. I use all of these levels when doing my homework or taking a test.
ReplyDelete2. A very important stradegy that I use when preparing for a test would be getting a good night's sleep the night before. I have also found that listening to your conscience is always a good thing to do. When I get my tests back, I am often upset because I didnt follow my first mind. When taking test another beneficial stradegy is to read the directions thoroughly. This can develop a better understanding of what is expected.

ReplyDeleteTo Alexandria Moore,
I agree with you to follow your first instinct because sometimes I too talk myself out of the correct answer.
To LaMegan,
Quizzing and studying with other students is also a good way because maybe they know something that you don't and vice versa.
To Zachary,
How do you preplan an exam?
I agree with Alexandria because she has a good preplan gameplan and a good prospective of the Bloom Taxonomy.
ReplyDelete1.the understanding i have of Blooms Taxonomy, is that it explains the 6 different learning levels which include: knowledge, analysis, comprehension, application, synthesis, and evalution. i always use my knowledge when studying and i always analyze what im reading.
ReplyDelete2. when preparing for a test i use knowledge, comprehension, and analysis.when taking a test, i use my knowledge to uncover the right answer. when pretaing to comprehension and analysis, i simply read the information on the test to develop a deeper understanding of what the questions are asking me.
1. Bloom's taxonomy is the best way I know to categorize the kinds of knowledge that can be formally taught. I'm not sure how useful it is to students, but I bet it's very useful for teachers. I'll probably be looking at it again, since I'm an education major.
ReplyDeleteMost of my class work focuses on reading text, which is stage 1, and testing comprehension, which is stage 2.
2. For multiple choice tests, I mostly just have to memorize my notes. For essay tests... well, again, I just have to memorize the material. My main "strategies" are to do all the assigned readings and ask questions in class. I don't really get nervous about tests, because I usually do pretty well.
