#1) VOCABULARY: Improving vocabulary comes from reading, at least for me majorily. When you read your assigned text books or even the books you personally enjoy, it can definetly expand and broaden your vocabulary and understanding of life. Reading is beneficial not only for collegiate success, but restoring internal vocabulary.
SPEED: uhhh, Ms. Rutherford, I need some clarification. Speed regarding grasping material, reading or something else?????
COMPREHENSION: Like I suggested last week, I truely believe that if you go to your classes regularly, take notes, engage in classroom conversations and ASK QUESTIONS!!! OMG....THATS THE MOST SIGNIFICANT THING IN COMPREHENDING ANY CONCEPT, BE INQUISTIVE, WHETHER IT'S FOR CLARIFICATION, PERSONAL GRATIFICATION OR EVEN MAKING SURE YOU'VE MASTERED THER MATERIAL. There are no wrong questions.

    #2) Question #2 is on it's way.......

  2. -To help strengthen your Vocabulary is to read and use words that you wouldn't normally use and to find the meaning for the words that you come across that you dont know.
-With improving on your Speed its really best to go at your own pace to get better understanding of your work but at the same time try not to get behind on it also.
-And to better you in your Comprehension skills you should make appointments to meet with your teachers/professors to discuss what you didn't understand in class.

1.Expanding your vocabulary would be one way. Teachers use certain vocabulary for their test, knowing what they are expecting you to write would make the test easier.

2.Study words that are unknown to you. Comprehend on a faster pace but also be effective and listen to the teacher for hidden clues that might show up on the test.

  5. 1.If I continue to read more,I am sure my reading speed, comprehension, and will improve. in addition if I take the choice of finding a new word, defining it, and incorporate into my everyday vocabulary.

2.I think I have already done this.
